Feels nice in the hand, volume and squelch only sdjusted when intended, not by accident like knobs on top, Great to charge from any USB outlet into a Lithium pack. Screen easy to ready, Tx/Rx clear both ways and aerial very soft so doesn't get hung up on anything.. East Tx switch, buttons good for big fingers. Standard Horizon quality - just works right...
Scanning works well but download a new copy of manual as there are faults in printed version like how to delete a favourite chanel (one misnamed button - drove me mad till looked i n downloaded manual and was fixed)
Pity they didn't make a loop attachment if you don't use belt clip. You need to slide in belt clip to have any attachment point for a loop.
